Biotek pigments

Biotek is the world leader and the most famous Italian manufacturer of equipment and pigments for permanent make-up and artistic tattoo, being present in the market for more than 30 years

Despite the fact that there are a lot of permanent make-up pigments manufactured in China presented in the market, the main manufacturers of pigments are European and American companies (in Russia permanent make-up pigments are not produced).

The European laws provide thorough monitoring of production of pigments and of components they consist of. Only those pigments having no trace of heavy metals and aromatic amines are marked “CE” and are allowed for use in pharmacology and cosmetology.

“Biotek” is one of those manufacturers of safe pigments. Their patented technology “Bioresistant” allows to produce high-quality and bioresistant pigments. The colour range is constantly renewed.

Independent tests showed that modern technologies allow to make permanent make-up pigments more bright and lasting by 35%.

In Biotek scientific laboratory they have developed pigments that are 100% compatible with human tissue and are chemically inert to ongoing metabolic processes.

Extra lasting Biotek pigments have been developed due to several factors:

  1. Micro-ionization technologies allowed to reduce dimensions of the pigment particles down to 4 micrometers (0.004 mm).
  2. Pigment particles are covered with a special micromolecular layer, which is intended to “trick” the immune system in order not to cause immune response and rejection of the pigment.
  3. Biochemical durability of the main components of the pigments.

Quality of the pigment basis is very important for lasting and bright permanent make-up. New permanent make-up pigments satisfy the modern cosmetology logo: “beauty + care”. Besides the classic elements – glycerin, isopropylen alcohol, distilled water – their composition also includes aloe extracts, hamamelis, magnesium, essential oils – for more successful healing and prevention of complications (herpes, etc.)

Wide colour range, comprising 72 basic colours (all available!), makes it possible to choose a shade in each specific case.

It is important that Biotek pigments undergo homogenization, i.e. grinding of dry and liquid components to a smooth paste.

Vacuum stabilization: it is a process when under vacuum extra oxygen is evacuated from the pigment preventing premature fracture of pigment.
