For permanent make-up it is possible to use only approved pigments. Paints for p. m. consist of liquid base and dry colour pigment.
They should be compatible with human tissues and chemically inert. The pigments shouldn’t contain toxic and carcinogenic components.
Pigment`s index of PH should be within the limits of physiological norm. Pigments should be uniform, homogeneous and be resistant to the influence of UV-rays. They also should be hypoallergenic and have long enough disassimilation period.
